Wahab Riaz clean bowled Usman Khawaja and Warner

What an absolute beauty of an occasion is the Australia vs Pakistan game taking place on March 25 2016 in the beautiful town of Mohali. Infact the entire ICC World T20 2016 or the 6th Twenty Twenty World Cup has been an absolute treat to watch for the cricket fans and even the neutrals. The excitement is at its peak and things could not have gotten any more exciting. New Zealand have already qualified for the semi-final stage and became the first team to do so after mainitaing their healty run in against Pakistan. The Black Caps defeated the 2009 Champions on Tuesday to book a berth in the next round.

For Pakistan, much like their entire history, they have been on and off. THeir form was horrible in the Asia Cup, losing to both India and Bangladesh. And Although, they bounced back in the opening World T20 game against Bangladesh by a whoping 55 run margin, the greens fell to defeats for two matches in a row.

First they lost to India and then to Black Caps, but despite of their two losses, their healthy net run rate still offers them a realistic chance to make it to the semi-final.

For Australia, they too find themselves in a similar situation. The task at hand is not the easiest and the Kangaroos are requirded to defeat the first two Champions of the competition in the next two games if they are to join their Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand in the semi-finals. Steve Smith won the toss and put his side to bat in a crunch encounter.

Wahab Riaz was brought back in the Pakistan side and it was a massive decision. Wahab first bowled Usman Khawaja and then cleaned the stumps of David Warner. Wahab is on fire, watch the Pakistan paceman return to form in this video.
