Afridi replies on question regarding retirement

It is a wonderful day for a wonderful game of cricket. The entire ICC World T20 2016 has been an absolute treat to watch, with almost every game providing fans just the thrill and nerves that they deserve for supporting the wonderful game. Among the two Super 10 Groups, Group 2 was being regarded the group of death and boy have things been super close in this group? India were defeated in the very first game at the hands of New Zealand which opened the group beyond repair. India are now back in the hunt but are required to win their remaining games.

Just Like India, both Pakistan and Australia are also required to win their remaining games to have concrete chances of making it to the semi-finals. Pakistan lost two games in a row, first against arch rivals India and then to Black Caps New Zeaaland, but due to a healthy run rate are still alive in the competition.

The greens have beaten Australia in the WOrld T20 before, and if the mighty Shaheens do it again here today, they will give themselves a good chance of making it to the semis.

Before Pakistan’s high profile encounter with Australia, their ever so popular captain Shahid Khan Afridi was talking before the game to a reporter. The question that the reporter asked was the very same question almost every Pakistani would be willing to ask Boom Boom, whether a hater or a lover.

THe reporter asked Afridi if it was confirmed that he would retire after the ICC World T20 2016. Afridi replied that nothing is confirmed and that he would be taking a decision only after the tournament ends, and would take it in front of his fans only.
