Tainted Mohammad Amir is back in the team green. It has been a long journey for Amir; he was out of cricket for 5 years. Amir then came back to the cricket, but first had to perform in domestic to get some attention.
He did his best in Pakistan for SNGPL and his brilliant spells for the team earned him an expensive contract with Chittagong Vikings in BPL. Amir saw it the best opportunity to echo his name again. So he went on and performed with the same intensity in BPL.
His bowling was widely recognized and then all of a sudden the people of Pakistan showed a huge support for him and Amir was taken back in the international team of the PCB.
Amir had to face retaliation within the team, but then PCB had to take a firm stance to support Amir. Later Shahid Afridi pledged his alliance with Amir and after Afridi Waqar came up showing his support for Air. That was the end of all the negative influence against Amir.
He was welcomed by all the players and now we can see him bowling in New Zealand during the practice session. Amir looks in complete shape and his pace is easily noticeable. Amir will play an important role in all the six games Pakistan will contest against the New Zealand.
Pakistan has a tight, fast bowling unit and Amir with the new ball will impose a huge threat for the Kiwis. It will be important, how the New Zealand manages to face him in the center.
Mohammad Amir is back in international cricket and he will surely be a part of the Pakistan team tomorrow in the first game against the hosts in Auckland. T20 captain Afridi and head coach Waqar had already backed him up before the first game.
